SCD 16mp
This unit is a process monitoring device that is located in a sample pot in a side stream of the process. The typical location would be a few minutes downstream of a chemical addition point in the process, to enable the operator to monitor changes in colloidal charge in conjunction with changes in chemical addition rates or other process related variables.

This SCD has a built-in PI controller and the control output can be set from the menu to be 4-20mA or a pulsed output potential free contact with a range of 20 to 255 pulse/minute relating to the control output range of 0 – 100%.

LTD 16mp (Laboratory Demand Titrator)
The SCD 16mp process instrument can give valuable results in the lab when monitoring of multiple sample points in the plant with individual units is not an economic option. The unit is completely portable, contains all the necessary equipment to conduct test work and can be rapidly set up anywhere. Laboratory work with this instrument is made easy with the instrument itself being hinged in the carry case and its ability to readily accept the sample. The sample can be kept mixed with the use of the Lechintech (PTY) LTD Magnetic Stirrer, which comes standard fitted into the carry case. The instrument and all of its accessories are housed in a tough aluminium carry case.

Entrained Air Monitor online unit
The Lechintech (PTY (Ltd) online EAM is a batch process unit that has its own local processor and setup parameters for a single sample system.
The online unit can monitor entrained air values up to 10%, with applications on the paper machine and in the pulp mill. It can also be adapted to monitor more than one sample on a sequential basis, with the use of an automated valve manifold controlled from the DCS. The unit has a 4-20mA process signal output and digital alarm and hold output for remote monitoring and control.

Gives the flexibility for the use of a duty and standby pump, which will automatically allow for extended control in extraordinary conditions.
Split Range Converter (SRC)
The Lechintech (PTY) LTD Split Range Converter modifies a single 4-20mA signal and converts it into two outputs. The card can be configured to give two identical 4-20mA outputs, or to give a split range output, generally a 50-50 split as depicted in the graph below. The card can be ordered in 110 or 220 VAC and can be configured to give up to a 30-70% split

Allows for the connection of a 4-20mA control output to a dosing pump with a pulsed speed input.
For use when two dosing pumps are utilised in parallel.
Gives the flexibility for the use of two pumps in a fixed ratio dosing two different chemicals.
Current to Frequency Converter
The Lechintech PTY (Ltd) I to F (current to frequency converter) takes a 4-20mA input and converts it to a pulse output. The output is two potential free contacts rated at 1 amp in alternating action. The duty cycle is 50% and is DIP switch selectable from 1 pulse per minute to 255 pulses per minute. The power supply is 220 VAC with 110 VAC as an option.

SERVICES
Lechintech PTY (Ltd) offer both on site and work shop service for all of the equipment that we supply. We issue certificates of calibration and service for the equipment we test in our workshop, and will supply a call report on all site work conducted. We are happy to quote for your specific requirements for either the on site or workshop options. We charge for distance traveled and time on site, or quote free of charge for repairs in our workshop providing the equipment is delivered free to the workshop. If the quote is not accepted the components will be crated and shipped back to site at your cost..
On-Site
The onsite servicing of the Lechintech PTY (Ltd) equipment will be limited to basic servicing, parts replacement and standard calibration. Any electronic repairs and testing will be conducted in our laboratories at our discretion.
Workshop
The workshop staff can undertake a full refurbishment of all equipment supplied by Lechintech PTY (Ltd) if it is serviceable. Replacement of components are at the sole discretion of the Lechintech PTY (Ltd) staff, once a full-service investigation has been done.
